The installation process of threaded ball valves requires following certain steps to ensure their correct installation and good operation. The following is a detailed introduction to the installation process of threaded ball valves:

1、 Preparation before installation

1. Check the pipeline: Ensure that the pipelines before and after the ball valve are ready, and that the pipelines are coaxial, with the two flange sealing surfaces kept parallel. The pipeline must be able to withstand the weight of the ball valve. If the pipeline cannot support it, please install appropriate support structures on the pipeline.

2. Cleaning pipelines: Use compressed air or appropriate cleaning tools to blow clean the pipelines before and after the ball valve, removing oil stains, welding slag, and other impurities. This helps to reduce wear and leakage of the valve during use.

3. Check the valve: Check the markings of the ball valve to ensure that it is intact and undamaged. Fully open and close the valve several times to verify its normal operation.

Remove protective components: Remove the protective components on the flange connecting the two ends of the ball valve for installation.

4. Check valve hole: Check the valve hole to ensure there is no dirt. Use appropriate cleaning agents to clean the valve holes, as even small particles can damage the sealing surface of the valve seat.


2、 Installation process

1. Prepare tools and materials: Prepare the necessary installation tools and materials, such as wrenches, thread sealants, etc. Pay attention to selecting suitable sealants for the medium and material.

2. Apply sealant: Apply an appropriate amount of sealant at the threaded connection to improve the sealing performance of the connection.

3. Connecting valves and pipelines: Tightly connect valves and pipelines through threaded connections. During the tightening process, the force should be gradually and evenly applied to avoid leakage or damage caused by being too tight or too loose.

4. Installation of actuator: If the valve is equipped with an actuator (such as a pneumatic actuator), the actuator should be installed correctly according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure that the connection between the actuator and the valve is firm and reliable, and adjust the position and angle of the pneumatic components.


3、 Post installation inspection and debugging

1. Check connections: Ensure that all connections are secure and reliable, without any looseness or leakage.

2. Operation test: Operate the driver to open and close the ball valve several times to ensure that the ball valve operates flexibly without any obstruction, and verify whether it works normally.

3. Sealing performance inspection: Conduct a sealing performance inspection on the flange joint surface between the pipeline and the ball valve according to the pipeline design requirements to ensure no leakage.


4、 Precautions

1. Avoid damage: During installation, avoid using the actuator part of the valve as a lifting point to prevent damage to the actuator and accessories.

2. Installation direction: If the ball valve is equipped with a gearbox or pneumatic drive, it should be installed upright, that is, installed on a horizontal pipeline, and the drive device should be located above the pipeline.

3. Compliance with specifications: Follow the manufacturer's installation guidelines and relevant industry standards to ensure correct and safe installation.
